It's a possibility, the problem however is that because these books are shorter, they'd only be about 5 or 6 hours long as an audiobook. Which means they won't sell much. Because people effectively pay the same for a 12 hour book as a 5 hour book, they don't buy the shorter books (subscribers get one or two 'free' books a month).
Now, I could make a box set of the first three books and sell -that- as an audiobook, but the box set probably wouldn't come out until Christmas, so the audiobook would be after that. I am talking to the same voice actor who did Delvers LLC and Super Sales on Super Heroes (he's the one who told me about the length/sales issue). But until he gets back from vacation, I won't know if he wants to do my books or not.
So it's a possibility, but things are a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. Honestly, after I finish this series, (it's a planned 6 book arc) I'm thinking I should just start writing longer books. But I'd have to charge a little more for them. *sigh*
The thing I like about the shorter books is a quicker release time, personally I like being able to snap two to three books up in a 6 month period vs waiting six months for one even so your one of the few new authors I don't mind waiting for so long as you keep selling them I'm going to keep buying them.
Jeff Hays is one of the best voice actors so I'm crossing my fingers for you ;).
