Well, there hasn't been any bannings of successful well selling authors of late, so I'm hopeful.
The big thing is, I was making the same out of the program as in, but there were a lot of people who told me that financially they really couldn't afford to buy the books that weren't in KU as they were on a fixed income, and I could see that was true by the decline in sales.
So with everything else being the same, I decided I would take the chance, because I'd rather reach the larger audience, especially those people who have been reading me since the beginning, via KU.
Prayers that everything does go right are of course appreciated! :-)
Well Michael-Scott Earle has been completely deleted off Kindle for the last couple weeks now so.... But as a subscriber to KU I do appreciate your stuff being up. Also if I really like an author or series I may buy the book later when it's time for a second read.
i have been bookmarking lit-rpg and harem stories that are on Pre-Order... several of them have mysteriously vanished in the last few weeks as soon as they come out of preorder.
I think a number of people haven't been getting their books finished on time and are discovering, the hard way, just what happens if you're late on your pre-order submission. Amazon does punish you for that. It's why I don't do pre-orders very often, you need to have the novel finished before you set it up, or you're playing with fire.
I appreciate the book coming out when it's ready! I kind of hate preorders, because I can't preview them and if I'm excited about the book, it's still a bit like getting slapped down, "No! Not yet!" So they usually get thrown on the wishlist, and I come back to them if I remember.
So far I have read every book you have put on Amazon. I don't mind paying full price for any of the books I read, since it supports the authors. I hope this 'zon/fiasco gets sorted out soon.
Sept 25, going to put that on my calendar. Wive's Tales #2 came out, so I read it then re-read the entire series (just finished last night) preparing for the next book. Darn, now I have to start over again ;)
have you talked to michael scott earle? is he coming back to amazon? is amazon the only place to get e books from you guys or is there another platform? i bought all the valens books thru amazon but if there is another source maybe we should switch monopolies bother me
Michael is working on coming back to Amazon. We're all hopeful that he'll be back soon. He's keeping quiet on the subject at this point, so I don't know what the status of things are currently.
I"m not sure they have fix anything either since there still a number of popular authors not back, such as Michael-Scott Earle, JA Cipriano, several others.
That's great I have all your audiobook versions of 1 thru 6 and I was part way thru 7 and accidentally borrowed a different book and you had removed your books from KU. So I haven't been able to read 7 thru 9 or wives tales 1 & 2, so now I'm going to marathon read all of them. So thanx a bunch for returning to KU.
Planning on putting Valens Legacy 7-9 on Audible? I got the three on kindle, but only because I got hooked on them from Audible first. I prefer audio versions because they allow multitasking. Looking forward to the next in the series.
Awesome! I've been checking back every week hoping you would get back on KU. I'm one of the fixed income readers and I can't thank you enough. I'm housebound and reading is one of my few escapes. Thank you!!
So I am split, I am happy that you are back in KU, but at the same time afraid that you will get banned like the other authors, that I read and love. (at least I used too...still hopefull I've contacted amazon 9 times so far and have yet to get back a actual answer for why they banned). And amazon is STILL doing the bans, heres two articles from just a few days ago.
So I was rereading the series from the beginning and got the game night scene in book two, apparently Sean had a gaming friend named Zack. Was there ever anything done with this character or a reason given for never seeing or hearing about him again even though this gaming group is supposed to be close or was this just a forgotten character?
I don't believe they fixed anything.

Dang and I just bought your last book : ). That is okay I really liked it and for the price it was worth it.

ReplyDeleteIs shadow the next audiobook coming out or is it the next valen’s book collection? I will be buying both just curious on the release order.
ReplyDeleteRisky, though I suppose I can understand why you'd do it. Hopefully it won't come back to bite you.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a date on Shadow yet. The next one is a Valens Legacy book. Sept 25th.

ReplyDeleteWas wondering if there is any update on book 10?
ReplyDeleteThanks
I've been waiting for it. Checking every day.

Hmm getting a bit worried here since we have not heard from our author in last few days, hope everything is OK.

ReplyDeleteGaming night has sort of fallen apart. We may from Zack still however.
